Over four Sessions

Enjoy a workshop-y type class that provides room for experimentation and discussion. We’ll break down each movement and muscle know-how that will enhance your experience of yoga asana (postures). These classes will borrow from other movement modalities, introduce unique props and meditation techniques to expand your body awareness. My hope is that all participants leave feeling capable and empowered to step into any yoga class. 

WEEK ONE

Strong shoulders: downward dog, plank and forearm postures

WEEK TWO

Pelvic tips + a happy spine in backbends: cobra versus upward facing dog

WEEK THREE

Hips + dips: warrior 3 and ardha chandrasana (half moon pose)

WEEK FOUR

Components of a sun salutation (hello, chaturanga!): building variations that work for you
